Impartiality declaration
Certification decisions are not for sale.
The objectivity of a conformity assessment body is its product. This page states, publicly and without qualification, how ISO EU LLC protects it.
Statement of top management
Top management of ISO EU, UAB declares that the certification activities of the body are undertaken with impartiality as their governing principle. Responsibility for all certification decisions rests with management and cannot be delegated to any commercial function, shareholder or external party.
ISO EU LLC identifies and assesses risks to impartiality on an ongoing basis — including those arising from ownership, shared personnel, consultancy relationships, client dependency and financial pressure — and documents the mitigation applied to each.

- Risk review
- Impartiality risks are reviewed at planned intervals and whenever the structure, ownership or service portfolio of the body changes.
Commercial decoupling
- Technical judgements, audit findings and certification decisions are wholly decoupled from commercial, sales, financial and political considerations.
- Auditor compensation is never dependent on audit outcomes, on findings made, or on the volume of certificates issued.
- Sales personnel have no influence over audit scheduling conclusions, findings, non-conformity classification or certification decisions.
- No commission, bonus or incentive is paid for issuing, maintaining or expanding a certification.
Non-discriminatory access
- Certification and assessment services are available to all applicants regardless of size, sector, trade association membership or the number of certifications already held.
- Conditions of service are published and applied uniformly; refusal to accept an application requires documented, non-discriminatory reasons.
- Access is not made easier, faster or harder on the basis of any advisory or commercial relationship.
- Personnel insulation
- Complaints and appeals are evaluated only by personnel who took no part in the audit, assessment or decision concerned. The assignment is enforced by the case system, not left to discretion.
Ownership, funding and legal independence
- ISO EU, UAB is a Uždaroji akcinė bendrovė (Private Limited Liability Company), registered in the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (VĮ Registrų centras) under company code TODO-9-DIGIT-CODE.
- Ownership structure, registered capital backing and operational independence from consulting bodies are disclosed on request in writing.
- Operational funding derives from fees charged for assessment and certification services. No client, shareholder or commercial partner holds any right over an individual certification decision.
- Implementation advisory services are structurally separated onto advisory.isoeu.com, with distinct branding, distinct contracts and distinct personnel.
ISO EU LLC does not offer, and does not endorse, any combination of advisory or training products with certification. Purchasing consulting, tools or training from any provider — affiliated or independent — has no effect whatsoever on audit scheduling, audit findings or certification decisions.

Impartiality is not only declared — it can be tested. Complaints about conduct and appeals against decisions are open to anyone, without an account and without a fee.
