Formal appeals mechanism
Challenge a decision. Directly, without an account.
Any client or affected third party may challenge an audit outcome, a non-conformity classification, a suspension, a certification denial or a withdrawal. Intake is open — no login, no fee, no preconditions.
Acknowledgement within 5 business days · formal Appeals Board convocation within 30 days · decision target within 60 days.
No member of the Appeals Board may have taken part in the audit or decision under appeal.
Filing an appeal has no effect on the appellant's standing with ISO EU LLC beyond the decision under appeal itself. No commercial consequence may follow from it.
Composition of the Appeals Board
- Chair — independent of ISO EU LLC commercial functions
- One technical expert in the normative standard concerned
- One external member with legal or regulatory background
- No member may have participated in the audit under appeal
The board reviews the audit evidence, the contested finding and the appellant's arguments. It may confirm, reclassify or reverse the decision. Its conclusions are recorded and communicated to the appellant in writing with reasons.

ISO EU LLC undertakes that no appellant will suffer discriminatory treatment or commercial consequence as a result of filing an appeal. An appeal is evaluated solely on the evidence and the applicable normative requirements — its outcome has no bearing on future audit scheduling or on any unrelated certification decision.
- Who may appeal
- Any client or affected third party — no prior relationship with ISO EU LLC is required and no fee is charged.
- Case confidentiality
- Appeal files are handled by the Appeals Board only. Members of the audit team concerned have no access to the deliberation.
Submit an appeal
State the decision you contest, the facts you dispute and the outcome you request. Evidence is optional but helps the board reach a complete picture.
Follow an existing appeal
Submission issues an immutable tracking reference and opens the case record. The reference is the only credential required to follow progress — no login, no fee, no email confirmation.
